About Hill Farm
A farm, restored with love
One hundred and fifty years of Cheshire farming history — and the two people who brought it back to life.

The story
From dairy farm to farm stay
Hill Farm has stood in the Cheshire countryside for over 150 years — a dairy farm through generations, in the quiet hamlet of Dutton. Its brick barns and cottages were built for working life, and they carry that history in every beam and lintel.
When Chris and Colette found the farm in 2007, they saw what it could become. Not a hotel, and never a booking-site anonymity — but a place restored barn by barn, where guests get a front door of their own and the farm gate closes behind them.
Today the farm offers seven self-contained places to stay. The restoration has kept the character — and added everything a countryside break actually needs.
